Hey babes! Most of you know me as the Self Love Educator that I am today, but few of you know how long it took me to get here! I think the most asked question I receive daily is “How did you get to be so confident?” Well, girl, it wasn’t easy and I had my fair share of setbacks.
I spent the good part of a decade in a vicious diet cycle, constantly undereating and over exercising to achieve society’s ideal body. But no matter how many pounds I gained or lost, I still felt an emptiness inside, a feeling that I would never be worthy. In the winter of 2014, I decided to try something new. Life always gives us opportunities to start over, to embark on a “second act,” and I began mine by deciding ONE key thing: instead of focusing all my energy on changing my outsides…I would do whatever I could to rewire my insides. Over the next 2 years I submerged myself into self-discovery, self-care, and self-love.
I read books, I attended conferences, I met women that were doing what I wanted to be doing, I challenged myself to try things I never thought I would, and most importantly, I built a support system around myself to help me stay confidently courageous: I had my husband, mom and a few friends in my corner, as well as Instagram, which gave me a place to find others like myself and a platform to share who I was becoming too.
Let me tell you something you might already know…when you’re about to start out on a “Second Act of Confidence,” staying connected to loved ones to keep you supported through the next season of life will make ALL the difference.
That’s why I am so excited to team up with Total Wireless to share with you their no-contractwireless cell phone service that operates on America’s largest, most dependable 4G LTE network.
