I am not sure if you’re feeling the same, but summer has been flying by around these parts. And after the unexpected news that we had suffered a miscarriage, we have been sticking even closer together during this time.
Naturally, the LAST thing on my mind lately is getting the kids ready to start school. And in full honesty, the thought of rushing to a mall or big retailer to do back to school shopping is already giving me anxiety. All I want to do is spend every last minute with them while they are home because they fill my cup up like nothing else on this planet.
So this year I decided to take a MUCH EASIER and FUN route: Stitch Fix Kids!
This is actually the second fix I have ordered for the kids, and the Stitch Fix stylists never ceases to impress all of us! They nail the kids personalities to a T every time:
Rainbow unicorn Cambelle that likes to be active but still girly and Surfer Stud Graham that is always on the move and likes to mix and match
I love that they get to feel so special when their individual boxes arrive. Each one has a little personalized note, and full color pictures of how to coordinate each of the pieces included in the box which they love (especially in comparison to when I suggest what outfits go together haha!) After they unwrap each item, they put on the best runway fashion show – this is my personal favorite part of the whole experience!
Now that I can cross
“back to school clothes shopping” off my list, I decided to make a last minute summer bucket list that we’ll be doing INSTEAD of shopping til we drop so we can #KeepSummering:
- Take a picnic to the beach
- Build a fort AND let the kids sleep in it
- Make our own popsicles
- Have a cannonball contest
- Favorite movies marathon
- Ice cream party with all the toppings
- Lego Building tournament
- Put together a large puzzle
We’ve already gotten started by taking a picnic to the beach!
If you’re in the same boat as me and you want to make summer last forever (or at least a few more days) and going to the mall is NOT on your bucket list, then Stitch Fix Kids might be the answer for you too! I have a special link that will waive your first kid’s fix styling fee HERE!
So keep on enjoying that summer mama, hold those kiddos tight, and tell me, what would you add to your last minute summer bucket list?
Stay tuned to see all our last minute summer bucket list items coming to life in a couple weeks!
Just do you babes
